My husband, my love, my very best friend

Four months have passed since you have been gone
My heart feels empty, lost, and I am all alone
No one understands how hard this has been
Except for you, my husband, my love, my very best friend
Even though you are not here, you remain in my thoughts
I try not to think of the passing time that has been lost
I know you will be home soon and I am counting down the days
But until then, everything seems to be hectic and so very crazed
When the phone rings, my heart starts to race
When there is a knock at the door, I think of seeing your face
I feel like there is a void, something is missing, so real and so true
It is my husband, my love, my very best friend.....It's You!
