My Husband, My Lover, My Best Friend PDF Print E-mail
I worte this poem to my husband shortly after he arrived in
Kuwait. I read it every day to remind me of how lucky I am
to have a husband as wonderful as mine.

My Husband, My Lover, My Best Friend

I love you more than any words can explain.
Why on earth do I feel so much pain?
All I want is to hold you and be close to you.
More than most, I really do miss you.
I miss your gentle touch and soothing voice.
I know this all happened not by choice.
I have the utmost respect for you.
For the man that you are and all that you do.
You are my heart, my world, and my soul.
Without you here, my life is not whole.
I cannot wait until you are home again.
You are my husband, my lover, my best friend.

I love you Donald Wayne Parkhurst Jr. Be safe and don't
worry. I will always be your's and you'll always be mine.

Love always and forever,
Your Loving Wife Angela
