Remembering My Love...

 Remembering My Love...

I wrote and sent this poem to my husband while he on his first Westpac
onboard the U.S.S. Carl Vinson from November ' 98 to May ' 99.

Your eyes comfort me,
Your smile brightens my day,
And your embracing arms calm me
Whenever life has gone astray.

Your courage strengthens me
While you touch drives me wild.
Your romantic side thrills me,
As does your love for every child.

Your brilliance astounds me,
Your generosity is unsurpassed,
You voice easily charms me
And I know that our love will last.

Each night I look to the sky
And from my heart I pray,
That as the time of Westpac goes by
You're kept safe from day to day.
