Here Waiting

 Here Waiting

Here waiting is where I have been
Hoping to never go through this again.
Helping the others who have never been through this before
Yes, helping you all
The women of the corps.

We do not wear the cammie paint
We will not die our countries saint
We will however continue on
And wait for the day when you come home.

We will always be a part of you
Remember if your scared we are too.
Do not block us from your lives
We are not your buddies
We are your wives.

Wherever you are
our minds will be
So when your mind is crowded
Save a little room for me.
